Union 15 closing at Colonial Gardens

by Mark R. » Fri Jan 20, 2023 4:18 pm

Just read this on Business 1st, they cited the 'broken economy'.
They said they announced it on social media but I haven't seen it on any of the "social media" I use.

Here's a link to the business 1st story for those of you who haven't used up your monthly allocation of free reads or those of you subscribe: https://www.bizjournals.com/louisville/ ... 2023-01-20

And here's a story from the CJ: https://www.courier-journal.com/story/l ... 825421007/

Hey, Mark, I just posted their statement direct from the Facebook page ... no paywall.

That strange because when I looked at them on Facebook I didn't see anything about them closing?

It had to be there, because that's where Biz First got the story! (As an aside, it's kind of bush league to put a copy of a public statement behind your paywall, but i guess they need all the pennies they can pick up.)

"Broken economy?"

Depends on where you are. I don't think club members at Watch Hill Proper feel very broke, nor the patrons at Malones, nor the folks opening The Capitol Grille, and so on and so forth..... eastwardly.
