Took my daughter to Wild Eggs this morning. I had the burrito sans chorizo. Flavors were good, the salsa wasn't nearly as good as North End's. The black beans on the side were really good, well seasoned. However, my daughter and I both agreed that the breakfast potatoes were so salty that we couldn't eat them. I probably should have said something, but I hate doing that. Not trying to get a free meal or anything... I also was disappointed in the grapefruit juice. It was sweet...more like a grapefruit "drink". Service was good...like the atmosphere. North End is still my favorite, though!

I was at Wild Eggs also this morning! A group of 6 of us were meeting in the corner. I had a dulche de leche french toast that was not what I expected exactly, but still quite good, although very sweet. But who am I to complain about sweet?

I had the bread pudding pancakes at Toast the other day ... wow! :o

My first visit there and will definitely put it into the rotation.

Actually rather than Mimi's just go to Bob Evans, same food (same restaurant group) in the prices and better.

Wild Eggs- My girlfried and I always split the Bananas Foster Waffles and Eggs Benedict to get the best of both worlds.

Do any of the qdoba's in town do breakfast burritos? One in Indianapolis did. I customized it to my tastes and soaked on the Green Jalapeno Tabasco to perfection.

I'm getting so senile. Looking back on my old posts, thankfully I commented on Meridian Cafe's breakfast burrito. It was outstanding! I only wished they had a potato substitute for tomatoes? Maybe I should have asked! Why go to a chain restaurant with places like this?

Like most breakfast places, I try to avoid them like the plague on the weekends...

That being said, Wild Eggs rules!!! :D I absolutely love the "Grits of the day" idea!!!!!

Us too! We're to the point now where we don't even bother to ask what the grits of the day are before ordering them. We've enjoyed some more than others, but we're never let down.
