I went there this afternoon. They indeed do have a daily buffet now. The place is very nice and large. It has a bit of an upscale feel to it. There is a fairly large bar in the back that exceeds pretty much any bar that I've seen in an Indian restaurant.
The buffet is $14.99. There were no chicken wings, fries or pizza slices----just pure Indian! I spoke to three others guys eating there who were equally glad to see an Indian buffet. One of the guys said he's been calling around for months and finally found one at Paradise.
The fare hits all of the checkmarks as for variety--nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing missing either. They are still experimenting and are using chafing pans which are inconsistent in keeping things hot. The food was ok, nothing bad, but nothing outstanding. I didn't find anything to be savory.
I give them an "E" for effort. There was someone who brought out fresh (but barely warm) naan, the guy busing tables was on the spot (but the water was warm), and the guy who seemed to be the owner made his rounds wanting to know how things were and if the food was good. So it was a pleasant experience.
I would go back. And I am rooting for them. Like I said, it is a nice place. But I will also say that we had some pretty darn good Indian buffets in this city! I hope they follow suit.
