I stopped in at their (now only) location in Middletown last week, and there was a sign on the door. I can't remember the exact wording, but it was to the effect of "Yes, we're open. No, we don't know if we're moving or not. Do not ask the staff. We're tired of discussing it." YN isn't my favorite (or the best) Thai, but I like it when I'm in a hurry.
From that slightly aggravated tone, I can't tell if their lease is up? Did the rent increase? That's happening all over town (Hibachi Sushi Buffet on Bardstown Road just closed permanently last week, after having only reopened a few months ago). Piccadilly Plaza is now all but empty.
Are these landlords getting greedy and pricing their tenants out of business?
