Velocity makes $30 limit, barely, at Bristol

by Robin Garr » Sat Feb 09, 2008 9:13 am

Velocity's Lisa Hornung gets by the Bristol on Bardstown this week to help celebrate the local eatery's 30th anniversary, mentions the celebratory wine-list discount (but drinks water), and holds dinner to a burger and chili linguine to stay under her column's $30 limit. (Actually, to her credit, she broke the limit by a couple of bucks in order to get in an appropriate tip. She's learned a lot since the early days of that column when she would stiff the server to stay under the limit, and I applaud this change.)
