I'm trying to come up with an overview of the region's most delicious, palate-scorching, endorphin-boosting delights. So, tell me, please, your favorite fiery dish at any local restaurant. I'm not looking for general cuisines but specific dishes (like Vietnam Kitchen's K8/VK8). Which might, by the way, be one of my picks.
Fried chicken with Xtra Hot Jeaw Bong Laotion sauce at Chick-n-Mi ... or get the sauce on the side and add it to their Ramen noodle soups!
Most of the Indian restaurants in town have one or two dishes that have the perfect combination of heat, spice, and taste for me, but every restaurant has a different dish and I can never remember which is which!
It’s seasonal but I think it qualifies. The hot fish sandwich at Royals is just awesome. It runs about 2 weeks earlier/later than Lent so it’s a good bet before/after fish fry season.
