Red Bud Dining Room replacing Eiderdown

by Rich S » Sat Mar 26, 2022 10:20 am

Red Bud Dining Room, which is owned by the folks who own Toasty’s Tavern, will be opening in the old Eiderdown spot at 983 Goss Ave. I can’t find a website or Facebook page yet. The name apparently comes from Red Bud Liquors, which once operated in that building.

It’s been kinda obvious it wasn’t coming back for a while now, but I’ll miss Eiderdown. Their hamburger, roast chicken, greens, and great beer selection were regular staples for me.

The people who own Toasty’s also own New Wave Burritos, don’t they? That bodes well.

Yeah, the loss of Eiderdown is a real shame. Gotta go shed a few tears here.

Certainly two of their better items although there were many others also!
