According to a business 1st article published today, 3 chefs from the Louisville area are semifinals the James Beard awards this year.
The three are all semifinalists in the Best Chef category in Southeast region, which includes Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia and Tennessee. The three chefs are:
• Anthony Lamas, Seviche, Louisville
• Ouita Michel, Holly Hill Inn, Midway, Lexington, and Versailles, Kentucky
• Alison Settle, Barn8, Goshen, Kentucky
