Conners Steak and Seafood is going to move into the Mimi's location on Hurstbourne Parkway according to an article in Louisville today.

Odd. I don't think I've ever seen a menu arranged by price points before.

Along pure economic lines, that is an important corridor. Its good to bring a viable business back into that particular building.

As for the culinary contribution, my preliminary scoring gives it a few points above another taco place!


All said, what the heck. If they are to find their public in Louisville, that is probably about as good a location as can be identified.

Seems like a strange place to put a new steak/seafood high end restaurant. Lots of similar options nearby. Just off the top of my head nearby or within a short drive:

Bonefish Grill (in the same shopping mall area)
Del Frisco's
J. Alexander's
Malone's
Stoney River
Capital Grille (planned near one of the St. Matthews malls)

I think they'll have to be really good to compete with all those options.
