Based on the name, I had assumed this place served a New Orleans Creole menu, but it’s actually Haitian Creole cuisine: griot pork and chicken, oxtails, chiquetaille, conch salad, etc. Creole Restaurant opened a month ago at 6918 Southside Drive in the South End. (That’s near Kenwood Drive, and across the street from Dalat’s Gateaux & Cafe.) I haven’t had a chance to visit, but it sounds intriguing.
