Bev, from a fellow currywurst lover, here are some thoughts:
(1.) A place called "The Hall on Washington" is kind of a beer hall with a German menu. Thier website's down and they may be closed, but worth a shot? Their "Grubhub" menu shows a "currywurst platter"
https://www.grubhub.com/restaurant/the- ... le/1788367(2.) Pints and Union / New Albany has been known to feature Currywurst as an appetizer, but their menu can be a "moving target", so better to check whether they're actually doing Currywurst that night, before driving over there.
https://www.pintsandunion.com/BTW, they're planning to open a new German place - The Common Haus - in J'ville this fall. Hard to think that they won't have Currywurst!
https://www.bizjournals.com/louisville/ ... -haus.html(3.) Eiderdown/Germantown used to feature currywurst as a regular starter, but I dont think they're open to teh public anymore?
BTW, all of the above offer/offered "Berlin-style" currywurst - - the wurst cut up in to little slices with curry ketchup on top. This is not Bayerische-style, which is one big honkin' sausage, still in one piece with small slits cut on to the top. MUCH tastier, to my way of thinking!
(4.) and if you're up for the challange, go online and order from these folks and do your own!
