I've seen surprisingly little information about Mother's Day, Jeremy! I hope others have some ideas, and I'll try to find out some more.

My initial google search yielded very little. The only local I found was Fork and Barrel. The rest were a serious of national chains.

It's odd. I wonder if the pandemic recovery and widespread staffing issues are holding management back from doing anything special. Mother's Day is traditionally another day to get well, but maybe a week after Derby Day is just too much for folks this year?

One thought: Gourmet Provisions is huge into making takeout family meals. I'll be surprised if they don't come up with something delicious, but it may sell out fast.

Or not. I guess I hit the target. :(

I'm going to start with the bad news. I was planning a mothers day family meal. Unfortunately I don't have the staff to take on what I would like to do. Next Sunday will have a special but it won't be a three course, feed four type thing. It most likely will be a seafood pasta dish that involves lobster, scallops, and shrimp.

You can build your own brunch take-out at Wiltshire. I did it last year, added flowers from Little Lou Flower Truck (available as an add-on from Wiltshire) and it was all amazing. https://wiltshirepantry.com/shop/product-category/mothers-day/ But hurry, deadline to order is tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5pm.

I didn't find much either in terms of family style takeout. Lots of dining in and lots of 'regular' carryout. Not much family style. Now that dining in has opened and expanded, seems like family style take out (other than Olive Garden) has gone away.

I just looked up Fork & Barrel to see what's on the menu, and the web site says it's closed on Sundays! Are you sure they're open?
