"Yes! Same place! New owners! Kelley is doing some consulting but has retired. Same Head Chef, Sous Chef and Pastry Chef, some of the same FOH. Renovated interior and much of the same menu"

That is great news. We love the Uptown and chef Matt Weber is our neighbor.

I think I mentioned in an earlier thread that we had our first real date there. We sat at one of the tables by the window. We lived in the Highlands from 1994-1999 and Uptown was my go-to when I was left to my own devices for dinner. Ate lots of meals at the bar.

This is great news. Our family has been dining there for 35 years. Kelly deserves a lot of credit for keeping it going after her mother. So glad it will continue after her. I will be there the minute it re opens.
