I was just inspired by an episode of Travel with Rick Steves. Where is a good place to find some great olive oil around here? I’m thinking a specialty mom and pop shop as opposed to some chain.

Z Olive in Westport Village.
They do olive oils and balsamics. Its an olive oil wonderland. You can taste samples as well.

Another possibility is Primo Oils & Vinegars, in the shopping center on Brownsboro near Chenoweth (where Doll's used to be.

)
Lotsa Pasta also has a good olive oil selection.

We support both Primo and Lotsa Pasta. Good folks in both cases. And nice selection of products.
