The Back Door and Dundee Tavern Suing the Beshear Administra

Even if they prevail in this lawsuit, will it be the make or break? I am not a business owner, but it seems that they are missing the big picture. Yes, I know that times are tough, especially for locally owned small businesses and affected employees.

I have sympathy with the situation, but after driving past other bars (one in particular) and seeing wall to wall people without masks and no spacing makes me want to blame the bars who disregard the rules, not the governor! Had everyone followed the rules throughout everything likely would be open now with no (or few) restrictions...

Really!? Really!? They say they will voluntarily enforce 6 foot social distancing ? Will they do better than some bars do on enforcing fake ids, under age drinking, cutting off drunks, limiting the number of patrons in at any given time due to fire laws?
Give me a break.
I’ve worked in many bars and drank in my share and on any given Saturday night it’s all a bartender can do to keep up with drink orders much less anything else.
The governor is doing what has to be done. This lawsuit is asinine.
I agree with Andrew - if everyone had acted responsibly to begin with and stayed home or masked up we’d be mostly through this mess. But no, and here we are and here we’re going to be for a while longer.

These are not neighborhood-friendly marketing ploys. Here's one household permanently estranged.
