Old Bacons/Burdorfs remodel

Can anyone get behind the paywall and give a summery of this article? Apparently $4 million will be put into the old Bacon's/Burdorf's, now Drake's, Sullivan's (soon to be The Ainsworth), and Mojito in Havana on Shelbyville Road. Surely they are going to let the restaurants stay...

Brockway Property Group said that it plans to renovate a large portion of the roughly 66,000-square-foot property at 3939 Shelbyville Road into new retail and office space and is actively seeking out tenants now. ...

The property is mostly vacant but is home to two restaurants: Drake’s and Mojito in Havana. Both restaurants are slated to stay, said Charlie Knieriem, business development director of Brockway Property Group. ...

The project will be constructed in phases with phase one focusing on the facade, interior demolition and getting the shell of the building ready. The second phase will be focused on tenant buildout and finishes, Knieriem said. Work will commence later this year. Brockway is currently in the pre-leasing stages and anticipates demolition crews will complete the first phase of the project by Fall 2021. A contractor has not been chosen yet, but Louisville-based Joseph & Joseph is handling the architectural work and the design.

Nice! I had always wondered about all of that empty space above Drake's and Mojito in Havana.

Now, I just need to move my office there so I can be at Mojito's before the happy hour rush begins!
