Didn’t he also own the short-lived 4th St. Live restaurant Quattro?

Yes, although it was never clear to me how active a role he had in the everyday operation.

Yes, although I'm not sure whether he owned it or consulted, and it was never clear to me how active a role he had in the everyday operation.

Heartbreaking news. His mark on the Louisville dining scene is undeniable and I enjoyed frequenting many of his establishments as a young and up-and-comer and marveling at the operations. A class act from start to finish. Brasserie and Allo were two of my favorites and I am still impressed to this day at how well put together both were.

Has anyone seen or have a link to any obituary for Bim?

I have not, Carla, but I'll look around, and hope others will do the same.

I saw that a GoFundMe has been created to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in his memory. According to this information, he died of leukemia.

The obituary is here:

"Honoring Bim's wishes, there will be no memorial or visitation at this time, but a celebration of life will occur once it is safe to do so and larger celebrations are possible."
