Kai Lana Sushi in Fern Creek closed effective 7/13. It's a shame as that was our more affordable alternative to Sake Blue.
Apparently another sushi place will take over the spot.
Also closed in Fern Creek within the past few months: Jimmy John's and Frisch's (no big loss on either account). El Vaquero closed prior to COVID. Hibachi Sushi Buffet has not reopened since March, but their FB page indicates they're reopening in late July.
Not that anyone really wants to take the risk of opening a restaurant now, but if you know anyone who is considering it, please let them know The Creek has several empty locations to fill.
