WHEN: Thursday, April 16 at 7:00pm

Virtual Dinner hosted online via meeting software accessible with a code

COST: $40 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required by ordering online at bourbonsbistro.com. Limit 40.


For those who are missing Derby this season, and who may have questions about the big race happening the first Saturday in September, Bourbons Bistro has put together a virtual dinner with sports author Mark Coomes and Jason Brauner. They will talk about this year’s delayed Derby, Handicapping, and the art of picking a winner.

Mark Coomes covered sports and a dilettantish mix of other topics great and small in 20 years at The Courier-Journal, The (Monroe, La.) News-Star, USA Today, Florida Today and The Cats' Pause.

To participate in the virtual dinner, guests will need to:

1. Order 3-course meal by 8 PM on Wednesday, April 15.

2. Pick up order at Bourbons Bistro on April 16, between 6:00 and 6:30 pm. Come to the side parking lot, text us at (502) 794-7879 to let us know you’ve arrived, and we’ll bring it right to your car!

3. Join the party at zoom.us and enjoy dinner with Mark and Jason! Guests will receive an email with a join link about a half-hour before the dinner, plus we’ll include written instructions with your order.
