China Inn Permanently Closed

by Iggy C » Fri Mar 27, 2020 11:37 am

Very sad news.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1968864 ... /?sfnsn=mo

We closed our doors on Monday at China Inn after 33 years. Penny, my mom, was the owner and passed away last month after battling cancer for 5 years. Her husband, my cousin and I were continuing to run it per her wishes. But we could not survive what is going on now.

We are selling our supplies, equipment, and decorations at this time. If anyone is interested please message me. Thanks.

Thanks for posting, Iggy. That's a shame. I hope we won't see too many more small family eateries close, but I'm afraid it's going to be the new reality. :(

During these troubled times, maybe we should try to clarify (if we're sure) whether closings are for the duration or forever.

According to my friend who talked to Great Wall's owner on their last day, he said he was closing for a minimum of six months and didn't know if they'd be able to reopen or not.
