Robin, can you please put together a nice page, maybe like your hotlinks page, that lists restaurants and you click to go to their ordering page? Then we can all share the single page out on Facebook and it'll make it easier for people to find the info than digging through this thread.

Mike, I'd like to do that - it's a great idea - but I'll have to find the time. Possibly I can build a chunk of space tomorrow, Let me work on that, but I'm sorry I can't crank it out first thing.

Thanks, Shannon! It appears that Louisville Take Out/Louisville Family Fun has done a great job of assembling a list of restaurants (with hotlinks) doing takeout, delivery, and/or free meals for kids.

You are welcome! There are some really good deals right now. I noticed on GrubHub, they’re offering “contact free” delivery & just drop the bag at the door. I’m feeling so badly for all those impacted by the closings.

Can restaurants sell a raw product? Their supply chain might be more intact than the grocery stores.

They probably can legally, Justin. Question is how it would work with their numbers, which basically depend on buy low, sell high with value added. It's an interesting business case. Add more value by preparing meals for takeout, but increasing payroll to make it happen? On the other hand, keeping people in jobs. I'm babbling here ...

Curbside pickup without messing with a grocery store adds value to me. Plus I'd trust the fish that Seviche was selling to make my own ceviche or poke w/ vs. the supermarkets.

Just spitballing ways to keep our restaurants going.

I sold 2 baguettes and a wheel of brie last night. I'm not quite to selling heads of romaine, yet, but if it keeps the lights on... (I know I can get all the cases of TP you want...)

At one point in time both Hiko-a-Mon and Mitchell's Seafood sold fish...

So they did! I haven't been to either for a while, but they likely still do.

Our favorite Greek seafood restaurant in Astoria, Queens, had a glass fish case at the entrance. They called it "the menu." :)

Link to a Nashville Scene article indicating that take-out orders alone are unlikely to keep restaurants afloat:

Yeah. It’s going to be up to Congress to provide help on the scale we need. Call John Yarmuth, Mitch and Rand to let them know what you think we need and deserve.

The latest version of the third Coronavirus response bill does look encouraging. This is what passed the House Finance Committee last night:

- 2k/month per adult + 1k/month per child every month of the crisis
- suspension of all mortgages, student loans, credit card and loan payments
- prohibit debt collection and repossession
- $5b in homeless assistance
