Carali’s Rotisserie Chicken

I saw on business 1st this morning that Carali’s Rotisserie Chicken is going to open their 4th location in Middletown. It's going to go in the Plaza where Kroger is in the location that was formally the "Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen" which closed last month. While we hate to see the ice cream and pie kitchen close I'm looking forward to this new entry into the restaurant seeking out this way.

Has anyone been to any of their other locations? What's your opinion of them?

I've been to the downtown location that went in where Fire Fresh used to be. I think it's quite tasty, very similar to Yummy Pollo and other such Peruvian chicken concepts in other cities.

The downtown spot wasn't well ventilated enough for charcoal cooking and was kind of smoky when we went, but it's possible they've fixed that and I wouldn't expect it to be the case at other locations, necessarily.

We go to the one in Jtown quite a bit. The rice is soooo good!!! Even my picky 10 year old loves it!

There's one opening up on Baxter Ave on the ground floor of that condo monstrosity.
