Ziba's Bistro at Logan St Market

by James Natsis » Sun Jan 26, 2020 11:41 pm

I stopped off at Logan St Market Saturday night with an out-of-town guest. We had a beer then had some dinner at Ziba's Bistro. Chef Bapion Ziba is from Burkina Faso (West Africa) and lived in Montpelier, France. His menu reflects his various backgrounds.

My friend and I both had a Lamb Ouagalais served with white rice. The lamb and sauce were simmered to a point of very tasty perfection. We also had a nutella crepe with fresh strawberries and pineapple. He showed me some of the other stuff he was putting out--I was impressed. I highly suggest the Lamb Ougalais. Bapion is a friendly guy who expressed a gratitude and pride in what he is doing. We gotta keep this guy around!
