Biscuits

Is there a local place that makes real homemade style buttermilk biscuits like grandma’s? I am tired of the fluffy biscuits that taste like sandwich bread.

Biscuit style is a matter of personal taste, so your mileage may vary, but I loved the biscuits at Gracious Plenty in Prospect. (They have another branch on lower Brownsboro just west of Zorn/Hillcrest, but I haven't tried theirs specifically.) The biscuits at LouVino's brunch were really good too, flaky and fluffy (watch out for that "fluffy" thing, though. ;) )

We also liked the stuffed and loaded biscuits at Boujie Biscuit and Biscuit Belly, and the biscuits at Burger Girl were okay, although I thought they were a little heavy.

Sounds good. I give it a try. There was a Place called Red’s Stage Coach down by the Corvette plant that had biscuits like when I was growing up.

I guess we all remember lovable little country (or city!) eateries that had wonderful biscuits back then. Makes me wish I had some right now!
