Notice of Code Enforcement Sweep

Louisville Metro Government will be conducting a Code Enforcement Sweep along Baxter Avenue/Bardstown Road during the week of November 4, 2019 in response to health and safety concerns raised by residents, businesses, and property owners.

The Code Enforcement Sweep will look at the exterior of every property along Baxter Avenue/Bardstown Road from Broadway to Trevillian Way and Taylorsville Road. Property owners are encouraged to assess their properties in preparation for the sweep and fix anything that could be cited as a minor violation.

All exterior property and premises shall be maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary condition, and the exterior of a structure shall be maintained in good repair, structurally sound and sanitary so as not to pose a threat to the public health, safety or welfare, according to LMCO Chapter 156.05.

Residents can report property maintenance problems and other issues to Metro 311.

It's too bad that they won't look at accessibility issues while they are doing the sweep! They seem to always ignore those issues!
