The news was posted on Facebook this morning. No specific reason given.

I had never been, and given the mixed reviews I had seen, the news is not that surprising. However I do hate to see someone's dream go down.
If life's a Banquet, what's with all the Tofu?

Cheers!

Whoa, that didn't last long. We had a good experience there, good food and friendly folks. I'm sorry to see their dream blink out.

I do have to wonder if location, location, location is an issue at that spot.

This hot hot summer couldn’t have helped people to crave Italian food. That’s why I hadn’t gone yet. Was just waiting for it to cool down.

Went once. Very good food, reasonably priced. But service was bad. More apologies than performance. Another example of it taking more than good food to make a successful restaurant.

beyond "bad"....abysmal! we went one evening - a Saturday night - and, throughout the course of our dinner, we had three different waiters at our table. and not because they were all that busy....

Not to beat a dead horse but during our one experience there, the hostess sat us at a 2 top in a completely empty area, and the chef/owner came over to her and loudly chastised her for putting us there because a group of 8 was coming in (there was still room even with us there). She apologized, and we ended up carrying our own waters and wine glasses to a new table, and the owner never spoke to us, much less apologized. The experience was more strange than insulting, and certainly not what you'd ever expect at a nice restaurant. The food was fine, but with lots of other good options in town, we never made an effort to go back.
