This place is on Broadway across the street from St Francis and the new bodega on 3rd and Broadway. In fact, the bodega and Falafel Oasis are owned by the same people.
It is simple in its indoor decor but the food was very good. I ordered a Greek salad and a lamb giro. The very friendly Cuban-American at the counter brought me a kidney bean soup on the house and a dish of their housemade hummous to try as we conversed about different foods. Everything was tasty and good sized portiions. The olive oil on the hummous and in the salad dressing was also good. Its certainly worthwhile for those who happen to be in the area. ..... as a side note, and southern cuisine restaurant is opening a few doors down.
