Lots going on at Pizza LUPO

by Robin Garr » Thu Sep 12, 2019 10:43 am

Pizza LUPO is excited to announce its popular Bagels & Bubbly Brunch will become a permanent monthly event. A hands-on pasta making class and a Garlic Celebration and Charity dinner are also on the October calendar.

6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7: Beginner's Pasta Class

Guests will receive hands-on instruction from Lupo’s culinary team on the basics of mixing, rolling, and cutting their very own pasta dough. Each participant will take home a recipe card, as well as the pasta they made, and will have the necessary skills to move up to our next level of pasta class in the future! Light bites and a bit of wine will be provided during the class. Tickets are $75/each, and space is very limited. Seats can be reserved by emailing lupolouisville (at) gmail.com or calling the restaurant at 409-8440.

7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21: Garlic Celebration

Inspired by the documentary Garlic Is as Good as Ten Mothers, Pizza LUPO is teaming up with Holden Farms to host a night in celebration of this unique vegetable. Guest chefs will create special garlic-centric dishes — and there will even be a couple of garlic cocktails available at the bar. All dishes and drinks will be priced individually. The documentary will be played in full during the event and a portion of proceeds will support the Coalition Against Gun Violence in memory of Gilroy Garlic Festival victims.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3: Bagel & Bubbly Brunch

Join LUPO on the first Sunday of every month for their popular brunch event. Wood-fired bagels in multiple flavors, small plates and brunch beverages. Reservations recommended; email lupolouisville (at) gmail.com or call 409-8440.
