Out With the Inwave, In With the Zeste

by Terri Beam » Mon Jul 22, 2019 11:07 pm

Inwave on Shelbyville Road in Middletown closed in June and has been replaced with Zeste Restaurant, Juice Bar, & Coffee Joint.

It's a vegetarian/vegan place, much like Inwave was. We never had a chance to check them out, but the power bowls might lure my fiance and me in at some point.

I went to Inwave once, and found it very disappointing. I'll try to approach Zeste with an open mind, hoping it's not just a rebranding of the same place.

The electonic sign is dark, as is the dining room and there is a sign on the door. I suspect it has closed.

Okay, The Face Book tells the tale. Their grand opening was July 1, and they closed on August 23. That even beats out Palatucci's for fast crash and burn, but you have to feel the sadness felt in this post.

It is with a very heavy heart I have to announce that due to circumstances beyond our control we are closed for business. This came without warning and was suddenly delivered this afternoon. I would like to thank all the wonderful guests who dined with Zeste, It truly was a pleasure to serve you.

It's looking like that's another 1 of the jinxed locations that restaurants just can't survive in!
