Clem's Clams at the Rally's on Brownsboro in Clifton

by chris.stahl » Fri Jul 19, 2019 2:53 pm

Anyone else notice this written on the old Rally's? I believe I read Clem's clams coming soon. Can't seem to find any info online as of yet.

I'm really going out on a limb here, Chris, because the short answer is that I don't know. :) But there's an outfit in Lexington called Clem's Refrigerated Foods that sells frozen food in bulk ($200 mimimum) to restaurants, retail shops and groceries; and they do have seafood - including breaded clam strips - on their sales list.

Well I have also been very curious. The "sign" has been there a while now and it seems like nothing is actually happening. Maybe Clem is busy digging clams up in Ipswich and has no time to get the steamer ready? Here's to hoping. I still marvel in the fact that we can get an excellent lobster roll in this town!

I wonder ... maybe Clem only sells clams during a month with C in the name? :?

It’s a joke. I’m Facebook friends with someone who is friends with the guy who put up the sign. There is no Clem’s Clams.

I feel like more and more Rally's are folding. Had no idea this one was shuttered. They make a solid burger.
