Shout Out to A-Chau's Pho

by Joni Lemke » Fri Sep 14, 2018 11:54 pm

Hi all,

I've been meaning to post this for some time... the beef pho at A-Chau is out of this world! The broth is one of the best broths I've ever had. Perfectly clear and delicate while ridiculously complex. One of those where you eat beyond full and want it again the next day. In addition, the restaurant is clean, comfortable, and service is friendly. Only downside, no adult beverages, but the pho will make you forget all about it!

Check it out - you'll be glad you did!

A-Chau is so good! Being right between VK and Annie, I'm surprised it doesn't get more attention. Thanks for the shout-out, Joni!

is this pronounced ay-cho? Wasn't one of the women helping Sal run The Cafe named A-Chau? Sorry for going just by my phonetic guess if I'm way off.

Good questions, Willie. Probably not directly connected. According to my research when I reviewed the place,
Á-Châu ... name is Vietnamese for “Asia” and pronounced “Ah Chow”

Good to know. My wife and I just moved to Beechmont and have this on our radar. We tried Alarabi a block down and it was also very good.

Pho breaks all the rules- it's the culinary equivalent of the Sex Pistols.

Soft Noodles

Cilantro

Stewed Sliced Beef

Citrus in Broth

Anise

But it works. If you want happiness in a bowl- grab a bowl of Pho.
