1.5 oz Old Forester Bourbon
1.5 oz Water
1.5 oz Simple Syrup
1.5 oz Lemon Juice
6 Mint Leaves
Mint Sprig (Garnish)
1 Lemon Peel (Garnish)

Coopers' Craft Bourbon Blackberry Mint Julep
INGREDIENTS
2 oz Coopers' Craft Bourbon
1.5 oz Simple Syrup
1.5 oz Water
5-6 mint leaves
7 blackberries
Mint Sprig (garnish)
Blackberry (garnish)

I thought mint juleps were just for carpetbaggin' Yankees who roll into town for Derby and want to play at being Southern gentlefolk.

IOW, I don't know hardly any locals who like bourbon and also like adulterating it with mint. :lol:

I think that's an accurate observation, Jeff. Personally, I like bourbon all by itself. :)

I look at it the other way around . . .

You see mint et al adulterating good bourbon; I see bourbon improving a cool mint tea-like drink for a summer day/night!
