Applebee's on Shelbyville Road Closed

by Mark R. » Mon Apr 02, 2018 11:00 pm

When we were out shopping this evening we saw that the Applebee's on Shelbyville in Middletown is closed. The signs are down in the building looks vacant. There was actually a U-Haul truck backed up to the building.

Not a big surprise but just thought I'd let everyone know.

Casual sit-down chains are being absolutely decimated by the current eating climate. I suspect you'll see a lot more like this before it's over.

I certainly agree, there are several others that always have empty parking lots every time we go by them. I don't understand how they stay in business.
