Little Italy returns to Lupo on April 4

by Robin Garr » Fri Mar 09, 2018 9:42 am

We had so much fun at our special dinner for Valentines Day, that we are planning a regular event based on that evening! The next Little Italy at Lupo will be Wednesday, April 4.

Checkered tablecloths, candlelight dining, Frank Sinatra and Luis Prima on the hi-fi. The menu will rotate based on seasonality and chef's whim, but will feature American-Italian classics like spaghetti and meatballs, veal parmigiana, or pasta e fagioli. Chef Max Balliet has hinted at adding playful courses such as fried mozzarella (mozz sticks, anyone?). Of course everything will be made from scratch, by hand, and using local ingredients - because it's still Lupo. Wine pairings will be optional, selected from our food-friendly Italian wine list. We hope to do a Little Italy Night every couple of months as a fun way to pay homage to the red-sauce joints that first introduced Americans to Italian food in the 50s. Mangiamo!

$35 dinner for one, $15 wine pairings
We'll start taking reservations for Lupo's Little Italy on April 4 immediately. Reservations are recommended, but Walk-ins will be welcomed.
Reservations can be made in person, by phone, or email.
