Aw, that's too bad. They hung on for a long time, though. I'm thinking we first noticed Lolitas back in the middle '90s, so 20-plus years. Maybe they just figured they'd done it long enough and it was time to retire?

Your memory is good. I had a note they opened August 18, 1993.

From the comments on their FB page, Juan just wanted to move on. Now that I think about it, years ago, he talked about that his business was wearing on him.

Loved their Avocado burrito but have not been in a long time. Sad to see them close .
