Blue Bull Location on Lime Kiln

I see construction going on but can't tell what type of business is going in. A load of tile was delivered so it looks like a restaurant. Does anyone know what the new business is?

I wonder what the name means? My something ... but "tieres" isn't a word I know in Spanish, and it's not in the Spanish dictionary either.

Mi Tierra? That means "my earth" or "my land," and sounds like a reasonable name for a Latino eatery. In fact, it's tickling the back of my mind that there was a Mi Tierra taqueria around here once.

It is Mi Tierra. From the shopping center's Facebook page:

Glenview Pointe Shopping Center
July 19 ·
Very excited to announce the newest member of Glenview Pointe Mi Tierra Bar and Grill to our incredible family of local businesses at Glenview Pointe.
Incredible southwestern cuisine and cocktails should be open in September. Menu looks incredible!
Stay tuned for updates!

Whoa! That sure is a lot of incredible.

Thanks for sorting out the name, though. Thinking back, I'm sure the previous Mi Tierra was a little storefront in that shopping center on the west side of Lyndon Lane just south of the railroad tracks. The family's 12-year-old son was one of the best servers I've ever seen.

Interesting that Mi Tierra has yet to appear, as far as I know. I wonder if it just didn't pan out, or if it's taking a long time, or (very possible) it opened under the radar. There's been no update to that Glenview Pointe announcement, though.

It is definitely still in the works. The signs just went up in the last week and it looks like they are picking up speed now with the build-out. Not sure what caused the delays, probably just typical stuff, but I'm looking forward to the addition. I hear it is going to be "incredible" :D

Good to know. Thanks for the update! I ran across this thread the other day and got so hungry, I hoped it was open already.

I happened to drive by Mi Tierra today and noticed it's now open. I still can't find a website or Facebook page for it, though.

I wonder if their crab meat offerings will be real crab? I saw no disclaimers (which doesn’t mean much these days.)
