Cuvee Wine Table- Where You Will Find Me

by Stephen D » Wed May 31, 2017 3:34 pm

When I want to find a family, I look for people that know more than me about the subject...

I lucked out- Scott Harper has opened a new wine bar in the East End. It doesn't sound like much- 'another wine bar.' This one is owned by an MS and no cares are given- and it shows.

Truly, if you know wine and want to squeel like a child- this is the place for you. A proper Lambrusco, Priorat, Grand Reserva Chianti are just a few of my wish-lists from years gone past.

Gruner Veltliner, Falanghina, Albarino...

All available by the 2oz, 6 1/4 or bottle pour. I've never seen anything quite like it. We have a very smart, limited spirits and beer program, but I am not sure we have been through a single bottle of Tito's. And that's coming from a craft- bartender.

The food is pleasant- small plates with Mediterranean influence. The wines were picked and Chef was given the task of pairing the food with the wine.

All-in-all, being here inspired me to take the jump and begin my Master Sommelier journey.

If you want to find me- look for the company I keep.

I've and checked it out under Stephen's watchful eye!

Wine, small bites, and good friends! Perfection!

Can't wait to check it out! I've known Scott for a long time and remember well when he was working toward the Master Sommelier. He's a wine geek extraordinaire!

I don't know anyone who knows more about wine, beer, liquor, and the hospitality business in general than Scott Harper. Had the pleasure working for him many, many years ago. I learned a lot.

Yeah I think so. It sits right behind the Target in the Springhurst shopping center.
