Best restaurant review ever?

by Robin Garr » Tue Apr 11, 2017 9:20 am

We've been laughing at this on social media for a couple of days, and it really deserves an airing over here. This savage, hilarious review of Le Cinq in Paris in the Guardian may be even better than Pete Wells' famous takedown of Guy Fieri's place in Manhattan. (And certainly beats out my hammering on the dead horse that was Doc's Cantina.)

The food photography versus reality is the most jarring part. I mean, wow. Just affirms my belief that you simply cannot outthink yourself when it comes to food. Keep it simple, fresh, and honest.

Have to say the Guy Fieri review is the most epic and hilarious of all time.

That is one of the best pieces of food writing I have ever read.

But BE WARNED, do not, repeat NOT, drink whilst reading this review as it can possibly lead to the ruining of your computer when you spit out the drink from what read.
