Sunday for dinner?

by meghan.levins » Sun Mar 19, 2017 3:39 pm

Sunday is the only evening my spouse and I can spend together, and we struggle mightily with finding nice restaurants that are open. Could we compile a list? I am surely not the only brunch eschewing diner out there; I am usually starving and brain fried, it would be great to just consult a list.

There are lots of options on Sunday evening actually depending on what kind of food you're looking for. Out Our Way in Anchorage you have Selena's, The Village Anchor and Coal's pizza. In St. Matthew if you have Café Lulu and Jack's/Equs as well as thing large number of pubs. There actually are quite a few restaurants that are open on Sunday evening as well as all of the normal chain restaurants.

Whoa, I would have mentioned those if only I knew! I guess I don't get out on Sunday nights much. :)

I am partial to Germantown now that I am over at Monnik (also open Sunday evening!); but that neighborhood is killing it. I can't get The Post $3 slice out of my head, and Eiderdown has reopened with a more streamlined menu and it is so, so good. And their beer menu is amazing.

I had expected the originals to crop up on this list; maybe it is a sign that I should try them out!
