I have family coming into town the 3rd week of May from Carmel, CA. They would like to dine in some restaurants that offers regional cooking style examples. (Their wording) Someplace that says "Louisville". I know my favorite restaurants in town but most of them are ethnic, not southern. They get tons of Pan American, Mexican and French out west.
We've done Mike Linnings, Limestone, Pat's Steakhouse, Lynn's Paradise Cafe - all with positive reviews from them but I'm running out of ideas. Any suggestions? It needn't be flashy or expensive, just good. (extra points if they have grits on the menu) No chains please.
Thanks in advance.
Carla
