Taziki's, Quills, Steel City Pops in St. Matthews

by Rich S » Mon Feb 27, 2017 4:42 pm

St. Matthews will be getting some new places to eat this spring and summer. Amazingly, none of them will serve pizza.

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe plans to open by the end of the summer at 106 Fairfax Ave. -- that's the old SuperChefs spot, next to Silvio's. I hope they have a plan for dealing with the limited parking.

Quills Coffee and Steel City Pops (fancy popsicles) plan to open by May in a shared building on St. Matthews Avenue. From the description, it sounds like the building between Lonnie's Best Taste of Chicago and Highland Morning.

That's probably the building where "A Common Man" barbecue was.

A Typical Man or Atypical Man, depending on how you read it?
