Guy Fieri goes Irish! (Rover)

by Willie Myers » Fri Feb 17, 2017 1:08 pm

for all of you that enjoy Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" program, this evening's episode (9:00p) on The Food Channel will feature our (Louisville's) very own Irish Rover!
a bunch of us had a great time there for the shoot a few weeks ago and I talked to the owner this morning to ask if they'd been furnished an advance copy to preview. he said they hadn't, so we'll all have to tune in tonight to see who made the cut!

So is the Rover a Diner, Drive-In or Dive? Little help here?

Nice to see them get some major publicity, but now I'm not going to be able to get a seat for my beloved Fish n' Chips!

I just saw the opening segment of Fieri's DD &D where he visits the Irish Rover----Wow! I was a vegetarian for so long that I only ate there once about 10 years ago or so. Boy, have I missed out!

Say what you want about Fieri, but at least he's sent some love our way here in Louisville via his restaurant and some shows. His portrayal of Irish Rover and the short intro to the city showed a cool side of Louisville.
