A local wine expert who's spent more than two decades studying the industry will soon be behind Louisville's newest wine bar — a yet-to-be-named venture in the East End.
On Thursday, Master Sommelier Scott Harper told the Courier-Journal that he and several of his partners at the Bristol Bar & Grille have signed a contract for the former Papalinos Pizza space at 3598 Springhurst Road, and they plan to open a bar and small plates restaurant there by April. ...
Harper said he plans to serve more than 100 wines, with roughly 60 sold by the glass. The wines will come from around the world, with familiar wines placed alongside more unique brands.
