Every night at Le Moo, each guest celebrating their birthday in a group of four or more receives a credit for their entrée up to the dollar amount of their age! It's a deal worth celebrating!

Been 4 times, never been a steak on the menu.

That's just what I was thinking. Great steaks retail to go. Interesting small plates based, but not a steak house.

Don't necessarily have to go to a steakhouse to get the best steak in town. I'm partial to Bistro 1860's aged ribeye steak. Probably the best steak I've had in town.

Making an addition to this thread just in case someone reads it and walks away thinking that one cannot order steak at Red Hog's restaurant side. They absolutely do have steak on the menu. the menu changes daily, so it may not be there every day, but they do have steak. I actually had one last night, and it was delicious.

Thanks, Ron. We were told early on not to expect steaks too often, as a simple matter of supply. Good to know that it can happen, though!

I had an excellent ribeye last Friday at Selena's. I'd go back there any time for a steak!

Yeah Selena's is like going to your favorite auntie's place. Really doesn't matter what's on the menu, it'll be good, and the atmosphere is (or has been for me) always warm and friendly.
So happy to have them in the area.

Butchertown Grocery has an excellent dry aged rib eye.

Are you selling them that steak Will?

When I was the chef at Z's Downtown as far as we knew we were the only restaurant dry aging our own steaks. Specifically we did a 28-day age on bone-in ribeye as well as a 14-day age on bone-in Duroc pork chops. We had converted an old walk-in cooler in the Kuntz's catering kitchen and aged meat for both locations. Since the downtown location closed after the end of my tenure there I cannot speak as to if they are still doing this or not.

Ruby's has always advertised dry-aged meat, and Brennan's Catch 22 claims they do also.
