Mirin Soft open

by travis.davis » Sun Nov 27, 2016 3:12 pm

Looks like Mirin opened up on Friday night. As a Clifton resident I'm stoked. Now if only I could get through all this thanksgiving leftovers to justify eating out.

Yeah, I'm seeing a lot of really positive reports. I don't generally do soft openings, but hope to get by pretty soon. If any of you folks check it out, please post your thoughts!

Tried it tonight. Really good - this is the ramen I think the city's been waiting for. I don't think it would be fair to compare Mirin to Rumplings. It's a different concept, and different product, so it should be treated as such. Perfect soft boiled egg. And the bao was impressive.

I still love Lydia House's spin on ramen, but Mirin reminds me more of bowls I've had traveling elsewhere.
