Just heard a reliable report that Steve Clements, owner of Avalon and the Derby Cafe at Churchill Downs, will take over the Kentucky Center for the arts space from Jarfi's Bistro, which as previously reported here will close at the end of The Lion King's run and may reopen elsewhere in the future.
I'm told that the Clements eatery may be a downsized operation, open only on nights when there's an event in the Center.
