On November 18 the Asia Institute Crane House is having their Diwali Celebration (yes, I know Diwali was on October 30 this year). There will be a samosa making demonstration plus the opportunity to sample some, along with pakoras. You can also learn about Indian spices (Masalas).
Non-foodie activities will include Bhangra dancing by U of L's Cardinal Bhangra dance team. They'll perform and teach basic steps. There will also be a henna artist giving henna tattoos.
Space is limited and reservations are required. You may RSVP to rmalhotra@cranehouse.org or at 502-635-2240 or use our reservation form - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdKvZu9yU-a3Snt6tIdKP-nLNVWfdN_-kF1-VhHe6mu6UQe-g/viewform
