Majids closing

by Dawn B » Sat Oct 29, 2016 5:11 am

Went for dinner on Friday night (Only a handful of tables). Learned they will be closing in three weeks.

Location? Food? Menu? Saturation of the market?

I hate to hear that, and it's a surprise. It's hard to believe it's the location, given the ongoing success of the restaurants that have been in there since Rick's. Is it possible that Majid is taking retirement?

Yep. With all respect, I'm even less inclined to pay real money to read Business First than I am the CJ. :(

Jeff, could you give us a quick summary of that article. Like Robin, I don't think I get enough value out of Business 1st to pay them $92 per year! Considering a majority of their articles are actually advertising anyway, you really don't get much for your money.

Cliff notes

Majid is retiring. Paul's is expanding along with the addition of an Indian buffet.
