Thanksgiving Restaurants

by kevin.armitage » Sat Oct 15, 2016 5:14 pm

Hello foodie community,

My family--parents, sister, my wife, daughter and myself--are spending Thanksgiving in Louisville. We have rented a house, but want to eat our thanksgiving meal out. A quick google search gave me a couple ideas, but I would love and trust your recommendations more! So..thoughts on the Thanksgiving day restaurant scene? Thanks, Kevin

I recommend Science Hill in Shelbyville (not far outside of Louisville) or Captain's Quarters down on Harrod's Creek. I' ve had very positive experiences at both locations on Thanksgiving.

Kevin, we actually had a little discussion on that last month ... pretty soon we should pin a discussion to the top of the forum. Meanwhile, here's a link to what went before:
