Tea Station Asian Bistro Re-Opening
Norton Commons eatery unveils newly-renovated space, Pan-Asian menu, and sake cocktails

PROSPECT, Ky.- Tea Station Asian Bistro will unveil its newly-renovated space and updates to its pan-Asian menu beginning Oct.14. The restaurant, which first opened in 2007, is located at 9422 Norton Commons Blvd., in Prospect.

New featured dishes include Cumin Chicken and Dun Niu . Tea Station is also rolling out several sake cocktails like the Cucumber Saketini and Pineapple Saketini.

In recognition of the re-opening, Tea Station will offer beer and wine, appetizer specials, and special dishes Oct. 14-16. Tea Station offers traditional Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Singapore and sushi dishes. The popular eatery received a 4-star rating from former Courier-Journal critic, Nancy Miller in June.

Tea Station Asian Bistro is open Mon - Thur: 11 a.m. - 9 p.m., Fri: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m., Sat: Noon - 10 p.m., Sun: Noon - 9 p.m. (502) 423-1202

I literally just had their site up contemplating delivery for later tonight. There was nothing posted that I saw to communicate a temporary closure. Odd.

I don't know that "re-opening" has to be an exaggeration. It can be a figurative re-opening after never really closing. I don't see that as being a problem. Like having a Grand Opening after a soft opening period.

Fair enough, Ronnie. I liked it better under the original ownership than the new folks, so we'll see what the "reopening" does.
